With the recent summit in bali, finally the entire tiger saving scheme has picked up steam and as many as 13 countries have pleged in to double the number of tigers. The condition of tigers is as bad everwhere as it is India, with illegal poaching and involvement of big players to such an extent that even the government could not butt in , to do anything benificial.
but now, with the involvement of WWF,there is some hope left for restoring the Tiger population. Not only because of the fact that tigers are essential for the eco system, but also for the fact that they have the right to thrive and perish on their own terms and not ours.
I, sincerely hope that some good comes out of this whole huge "tiger summit" at bali and that it does not blow up in its own steam.
praying for the best outcome.
